Visiting Assistant Professor in American Studies
Kenyon College, a highly selective, nationally ranked liberal arts college in central Ohio, invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor in American Studies beginning 1 July 2023. We are especially interested in candidates whose teaching and research interests deal with
aspects of racial capitalism, including labor systems and exploitation, wealth inequality, gentrification, and abolition geography in North America. Candidates should have a record of excellent teaching and a Ph.D. in hand (in American Studies or a related discipline) or be near completion by the beginning of the appointment.
