Why become a CSA Member?
There are many incentives to becoming a member of the Caribbean Studies Association. These include:
- An exclusive subscription to the semi-annual CSA newsletter and monthly e-newsletter
- Special rate pre-registration fees for the CSA annual conference
- Membership into the premier academic and policy community related to the Circum-Caribbean and its Diaspora
- An opportunity to be considered for a student grant to attend the conference
The CSA Membership rates are fixed. Only Lifetime Members are exempted from paying membership dues, but all presenters must be members of the Association. If one wishes to only attend the conference then membership is optional. Once membership is paid for the first time you are considered to be a new member of the Association. Subsequent yearly membership payments are renewals. The Association no longer offers the option of Lifetime Membership. The payment of membership dues including renewals, both online and onsite also requires filling out a membership form annually. This allows the Secretariat to update the membership list serve annually.
NOTE: Colleagues and Delegates, The Caribbean Studies Association would like to advise that membership and registration payments/fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
