Assistant Professor Anthropology and Sociology

Kalamazoo College invites applications for a one-year visiting professor starting Fall 2022 in the Anthropology and Sociology Department. We invite applications from anthropologists, sociologists, or geographers. The area of research is open, but a focus on the U.S. or U.S. territories is desirable.

A Ph.D. or ABD standing in Anthropology, Sociology, or Geography is required. Kalamazoo College is committed to inclusive excellence. They will also demonstrate a high aptitude for and interest in undergraduate teaching, a commitment to the liberal arts, and the ability to establish an ongoing research record. Salary is competitive and consistent with the level of experience. Kalamazoo College is on the trimester system, and the teaching load is two courses per trimester.
