2024-25 Fulbright Scholar Award

The 2024-25 Fulbright Scholar Award application is now open! These grants from the Fulbright Scholar Program (fulbrightscholars.org) present opportunities for U.S. citizens to go abroad, with 400 awards annually in 135 countries to teach, conduct research, and carry out professional projects.

The following awards have been handpicked for the Caribbean Studies Association membership:

  1. Bahamas, All Disciplines: A particularly well-funded award to teach and research in any field
  2. Barbados and Eastern Caribbean, Multiple Disciplines: Projects in gender studies and literature, life sciences, and social sciences
  3. Dominican Republic, All Disciplines: Awards for projects in all disciplines, but with an emphasis on public policy and infrastructure
  4. Jamaica, All Disciplines: Opportunities in all fields, but notably public policy, infrastructure, and object conservation
  5. Trinidad and Tobago, All Disciplines: Health fields are especially appreciated, but all disciplines are welcome
