BOOK EXHIBIT and ADVERTISEMENT

CALL FOR REGISTRATION

The Caribbean Studies Association (CSA) invites publishers to exhibit recent or classic publications of books, journals, handbooks and other materials at its annual “book fair” of the 50th academic meeting, to be held between the 1st and the 5th of June 2026 in the premises of the Pegasus Hotel. This call is addressed to publishers and any other companies whose services encompass the Greater Caribbean to display/sell books during the conference and/or advertise products and services on the CSA website.

A large cross-section of approximately 400-plus of the Association’s 1000-plus members look forward every year to the Book Exhibit space on the conference site and interact with publishers. This is where we find out what new publications in our fields reflect our interests, select books for course adoption, explore new research, and get the chance to interact with the publishers and authors in person. We appreciate your commitment to continue publishing books in or about the Caribbean region.

Given the multilingual and interdisciplinary nature of the Association, the annual Book Exhibit also presents CSA members (including scholars, academics, graduate students, creative artists, activists, practitioners, writers, and allied professionals) with a grand opportunity to browse and purchase books outside of their specific disciplines and languages. In this regard, we especially welcome, and therefore encourage, the registration and participation of publishers with books and journals published in English, French, Spanish, Papiamento, Dutch, Portuguese, and any creole languages representative of our Greater Caribbean.

We look forward to your participation in this CSA 2026 Book Exhibit as an important contribution to the rich scholarly and linguistic diversity across the Caribbean. 

PHYSICAL DISPLAY/SALES & ADVERTISING ON THE CSA WEBSITE

We encourage you to consider subscribing to any of the CSA advertising options. Please, see the table below for more information. At your earliest convenience, plan accordingly and begin today the process with your company to exhibit your books, journals, and other material. The following deadlines and information should be noted and observed:

1. Payment for advertisement and display space must be finalized before May 22nd, 2026.
2. Accompanying artwork/images and weblinks to be advertised in the CSA website must also be submitted via email before May 22nd, 2026, with high resolution copy-ready content with technical specifications detailed below.

The CSA 2026 Book Exhibition provides an exceptional opportunity to share recent publications with book lovers for five (5) days. To display your books, you are not required to be registered for the conference. However, we do encourage publishers to also consider registering for the conference as this would allow you to attend conference panels, plenaries and other activities during the entire week. We also hope that you will participate in the CSA Literary Salon, the Author Celebration and the closing ceremony which includes awards and recognitions.

ADVERTISING IN THE CONFERENCE PROGRAMME Book and eBook

This is highly recommended since every conference attendee will receive a digital copy to guide them throughout the week and for future reference. Additionally, the program book and e-book is the only comprehensive CSA document that transcends the conference itself, as it reaches other colleagues and friends in the wider academic communities in many countries. You can take advantage of having either a full- page, half-page, or quarter-page advertisement in this year’s edition.

Note: Advertisement payments should be made directly through the CSA website only after reception of an official CSA invoice, issued upon your request, with the payment details.

1. Payment for advertisement in the programme book and e-book must be finalized before May 15th, 2026.
2. Accompanying artwork/images to be included in the conference program book or ebook must also be submitted by email to CSA Book Exhibit and Advertisement Committee –see email addresses below–before May 15th, 2026.
3. Images must be pre-formatted according to the desired size and orientation (vertical or landscape), designed in color, grayscale, or black and white, and saved in PDF or JPG format. Images must be high resolution and copy-ready for media publication.

Note: All payments for advertisement or display space should be made directly through the CSA website only after you receive an official CSA invoice, which will be issued upon your request.
