Education Working Group – Zoom Meeting on June 20
Greetings CSA Members!
We hope you are finding this year’s CSA Conference both intellectually and socially engaging. We are writing to invite you to the next meeting of the CSA Education Working Group (EWG), which has generated keen interest from many of you in the past but has not been as active as we would have liked. Therefore, we would like to schedule a meeting to revitalize the EWG. We hope to discuss several ways to accomplish this, including:
- Creating a space at next year’s CSA Conference for programming specific to the EWG.
- Establishing a website to promote the sharing of education-related research, projects, pedagogical practices, and programming related to the Caribbean.
- Generating ideas for a special issue of the CSA journal focused on education.
- Exploring additional concepts that can attract and sustain membership interest in the Education Working Group.
- Establishing various service roles and positions within the EWG to encourage broader contributions from members.
We will have a Zoom meeting on June 20th at 4 PM EST.
