Nuestro invitado es el Sr. Michael Deibert, autor y periodista independiente quien se especializa en Haití y el Caribe, entre otros temas. El título de su ponencia es “Haití: la lucha en el corazón del Caribe” y el comentarista es el Dr. Felix Jean-Louis, profesor de historia en la Universidad de California en Irvine. Deibert es el autor de los libros Hurricane Maria and the United States in Puerto Rico (2019) y Haiti Will Not Perish, A Recent History (2017), entre otros.

Our invited speaker is Michael Deibert, author and independent journalist who specializes in work on Haiti and the Caribbean, among other topics. The title of his presentation is “Haití: la lucha en el corazón del Caribe”[Haiti: Struggle in the Heart of the Caribbean] and our discussant is Dr. Felix Jean-Louis, professor of history at the University of California at Irvine.
