2026 CSA Conference – Call for Volunteers
The 50th Annual Caribbean Studies Association (CSA) Conference is scheduled for June 1-5 2026 and will be held at the Jamaica Pegasus and the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, Kingston, Jamaica. The CSA 2026 Local Organizing Committee is seeking active student volunteers to ensure the conference runs smoothly and successfully.
Responsibilities Include:
- Support the Local Organizing Committee with Pre-Conference Planning/Preparation
- Attend the conference in person from June 1-5, 2026
- Assist with the registration desk
- Organize rooms for presentations and ensure the smooth operations in each room
- Support and guide conference participants at the venue and related locations
- Support the administrative function of the Secretariat
- Assist with photography, videography and social media coverage
- Attend the pre-conference orientation meeting and familiarize yourself with the conference locations, programme and responsibilities.

Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible to apply for a student volunteer position, you must be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral program at the time of the conference. Students who are graduating during the conference period are also eligible to apply. Recent graduates are also welcome to apply.
