Caribbean Studies Association, 38th Annual Conference
Grenada 3-7th June, 2013
The CSA invites publishers to exhibit books published in French, Spanish, English and Dutch, at our 38th annual meeting, to be held in Grand Anse, Grenada during June 3-7, 2013. As members, we look forward every year to the opportunity to visit the Book Exhibit area. This is where we find out what is new in fields that reflect our interests, select books for course adoption and for our research, and get the chance to interact with you in person. In a world where book publication is so uncertain, we appreciate your commitment to continue publishing books. Given the multilingual and interdisciplinary nature of our Association, the annual Book Exhibit presents members including scholars, academics, artists, activists, practitioners and allied professionals with a grand opportunity to browse and purchase books outside of their specific disciplinary and language domains.
For publishers who wish to display their books, the CSA is offering display space at fees of US $350 per table for the week and $225 for half a table. By having such space, you can display your books and other material for the duration of the conference. If a representative from your organization cannot attend the conference, you can arrange to have books or flyers (or a single book or flyer) displayed in your absence for an additional US $100 (that is, $350+$100 or $225+$100): volunteers will oversee these items for you for the week, but they will not be able to make any sales. Please note that there are additional costs for shipping the books and other material to Grenada.

We encourage you to begin the process of making arrangements to exhibit your books and other material now. It should be noted however that such arrangements must be made no later than May 1, 2013.
This is a terrific opportunity to mingle with book lovers for three or four days. In order to display your books, you are not required to be registered for the conference. However, we do encourage you to consider registering for the conference as this would allow you to attend panels during the entire conference week. We also hope that you will participate in our
Book Launches, during which we will announce the recipient of the
Gordon K. Lewis Award.

La CSA invite les éditeurs à exposer leurs livres publiés en français, espagnol, anglais et hollandais durant notre 38ème réunion annuelle, qui se déroulera à Grand Anse, Grenade du 3 au 7 juin 2013. Les membres du CSA attendent chaque année l´opportunité de visiter l´espace d´exposition des livres. C´est là-bas que l´on se rend compte des nouveautés de notre domaine d´études, que l´on choisit les dernières parutions pour les inclure dans nos cours ou nos recherches. Dans un monde où la publication des livres est questionnable, nous vous remercions de votre compromis pour la publication de ces livres. Les intérêts multi-langues et interdisciplinaires de notre association impliquent que les chercheurs aient l´opportunité de rechercher et acheter des textes de différentes discplines et autres langues que la leur.
Nous vous offrons des espaces d´exposition de US$350 pour une table à $225 pour la moitié d´une table durant toute la semaine afin d´exposer vos livres et autres matériels durant la conférence. Dans le cas où un représentant de votre organisation ne peut assister à la conférence, vous pouvez payer un coût supplémentaire de US$100 (c´est à dire US$350 + $100 et $225 + $100 ) pour que votre matériel soit exposé en votre absence : un groupe de bénévoles se chargera de l´attention des objets, mais ne pourra pas le vendre. Prenez aussi en compte qu´il existe des coûts additionnels pour l´acheminement des livres et autres matériels jusqu´à Grenade.

C´est une opportunité immanquable pour vous mettre en contact avec d´autres amants des livres durant trois ou quatre jours. Comme expositeur, vous n´avez pas besoin de vous inscrire à la conférence, cependant nous vous recommandons d´assister si vous le désirez et selon vos disponibilités à des présentations de communication. Aussi, nous espérons que vous participerez à la
présentation de livres durant laquelle nous annoncerons le gagnant du prix “
Gordon K. Lewis”.

La CSA invita a los editores a exponer los libros publicados en francés, español, inglés y holandés en nuestra 38ma reunión anual, que se celebrará en Grand Anse, Grenada, del 3 de junio al 7 de junio de 2013. Los miembros de CSA esperamos cada año por la oportunidad de visitar el área de exposición de libros. Es allí donde vemos lo nuevo en nuestro campo, escogemos libros para incluirlos en nuestros cursos y para nuestras investigaciones, y tenemos la suerte de interactuar personalmente con ustedes. En un mundo donde la publicación de libros es tan incierta, les agradecemos su permanente compromiso con la publicación de libros. Los intereses multilingües e interdisciplinarios de nuestra asociación implican que los académicos de diversas áreas tenemos la oportunidad de revisar y comprar textos más allá de nuestras disciplinas y lenguas específicas.
Ofrecemos espacios de muestra por US$350 por una mesa y $225 por la mitad de una mesa durante la semana para exponer sus libros y otros materiales durante la duración de la conferencia.
