INTERESTED IN SHARING A ROOM AT THE CSA CONFERENCE?

This year, as in the past, we are offering the opportunity to reduce cost, meet new people, and make it easier to attend our conference.  Dr. E. Valerie Smith will continue to offer the service she began as Secretary-Treasurer, the “Share A Room” option.  If you are interested in sharing a room for the Annual Conference, we ask you to contact her directly (csa@fgcu.edu) after completing the form.

Please note, that Dr. Smith does not make lodging arrangements. She connects people interested in sharing a room.  For additional questions please feel free to contact her at csa@fgcu.edu.  We hope you enjoy the service.

We would like to strongly encourage you to book at the Hilton Hotel in Kingston as your first choice for the 2009 conference. We realize that it is one of the more expensive options but the CSA depends on filling a quota of delegate rooms at this hotel so that the association can in turn receive the meeting rooms for free. We also receive a “gratis” hotel room for every 30 rooms booked by CSA delegates. These “gratis” rooms are given away as part of the travel award to needy graduate students and to help subsidize the costs for delegates coming from countries in economic hardship like (Guyana, Haiti and Cuba). It is with this information in mind that we hope you make a choice for accommodation at the 2009 CSA conference which directly benefits the association.
